- Anita Carmichael is a singer, sax player and producer par excellence. She is currently one of the top female instrumentalists in the world... has played with Whitney Houston, David Bowie, Jonothan Butler. M People and the Communards to name but a few. 'The Unadulterated' is her debut album and is an astounding achievement, the material covers jazz pop funk and soul interspersed with some searing sax solos, beautiful ballads such as footloose and some lovely piano work by Terry Disley. On drums an exciting new talent Gail Louise James and on trumpet Avelia Moisey. I highly recommend this cd to anyone who likes classy pop/jazz !!
