Review by Kim Childress

The album Aleluia Aleluia O Sorriso De Narinha by Trio Mocotó is a delightful blend of traditional Brazilian rhythms and modern influences. The trio's signature sound is present throughout the album, with their unique blend of samba, funk, and soul creating a lively and upbeat atmosphere.

The opening track, "Samba do Engenho Novo," sets the tone for the rest of the album with its infectious rhythm and catchy chorus. The album continues with a mix of original songs and covers, all infused with the Trio Mocotó's distinctive style.

One standout track is "Oxalá," a beautiful ballad that showcases the trio's vocal harmonies and emotional depth. The album also features collaborations with other Brazilian artists, including singer-songwriter Seu Jorge and rapper Criolo.
