Review by Anna Elisabeth Rentsch

Kostas Kotsiolis has released an exceptional album titled "Plays 3 Guitar Concertos" featuring the works of Ernesto Cordero, M Castelnuovo Tedesco, and Mauro Giuliani. The album showcases Kotsiolis' remarkable guitar skills and his ability to bring out the best in each composition.

The first concerto, "Concierto Festivo" by Ernesto Cordero, is a lively and upbeat piece that showcases Kotsiolis' virtuosity on the guitar. He plays with precision and passion, bringing out the intricate melodies and rhythms of the piece.

The second concerto, "Concerto No. 1 in D Major for Guitar and Orchestra" by M Castelnuovo Tedesco, is a more subdued piece that showcases Kotsiolis' ability to convey emotion through his playing. The slow movements are particularly poignant, with Kotsiolis' expressive playing bringing out the depth and complexity of the piece.

The final concerto, "Concerto for Guitar and Orchestra No. 1 in A Major" by Mauro Giuliani, is a lively and energetic piece that showcases Kotsiolis' technical prowess on the guitar. His fast and precise playing is a joy to listen to, and he brings out the playful and joyful nature of the piece.
